Gina raised two sons and became “Nonna” to 5 grandsons. Her home-cooked meals and the warmth of her presence were her signature trademarks. Her homemade gnocchi, lasagna, tomato sauce and trademark hand-knitted slippers will be remembered by many.

Gina was the quiet strength of the family – never demanding attention, but always watching, supporting and loving.

She is survived by her sons Joe (Diana) and John (Denise) and 5 grandsons Mitchell, Michael, David, Martin and Paul, who loved her and will miss her dearly.

She is reunited with her husband Fausto, her four sisters Giuditta, Orlanda, Emilia and Italia and her brother Gugliemmo.

A celebration of life will be held at Rideau Funeral Home (4239 Sources Blvd, DDO) from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8th, with a funeral mass on Thursday, October 9th at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.
