We gather today to honor and remember the life of a remarkable man. Born in 1919 in Shushtar, from the union of his father Roza and mother Fatima; his journey began in a small town, but it was a journey that would take him far and wide, touching many lives along the way.
After a brief time in Shushtar, the family, Kadija, Karim, Maryam Saadat and Mohamad moved to Abadan, and later, due to the illness of his parents, they made their way to Tehran. It was in Tehran that he experienced both triumph and loss. Despite his relentless efforts, he lost both of his parents and was left with his beloved sister, Maryam, to navigate life’s challenges.
In 1960, he married the love of his life, Mehri, and together they built a beautiful family. Their union brought five children into the world, Tanya (Jahan), Siamak (Mehnaz), Tamran (Honieh), Taraneh (Hossein) and Kamran (Parisa), each one a testament to the love and dedication they shared. Though the children eventually spread their wings and found new homes—one in Japan and three in Canada—his love for them never wavered.
In time, he joined his children abroad, living with them for many years. His life also brought many grandchildren into this world, Farzam, Pedram, Rojine, Ramtin, Roohena, Tamila, Roshna, Shelia and Delia. As the years passed, and he faced the need for special care, he moved into a facility where he was cared for with dignity and love.
On the morning of December 22, 2024, at 6:55 AM, he peacefully left this world. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy, his spirit, and the love he shared with his family will remain forever in our hearts.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9B 2A6 on Sunday December 29th 2024 from 2pm to 6 pm.
