<div itemprop="description">Alan Nichol, age 84, passed away on August 24, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and many people who loved and cared for him. <br> <br>Alan was the beloved brother of Jim Nichol (late Dorothy) and Hank Nichol, brother-in-law to Wendy Nichol and a cherished uncle to Joy Cella (Vince), James Nichol (Maki), Scott Nichol (Tanya), and Brad Nichol (Kassy), as well as his beloved great-nieces and great-nephews: Chloe, Donato, Mia, Hannah, Ben, Mya, Avery, Ethan, and Carter. <br> <br>Alan is also survived by his sons, Shane Nichol and Jarrod Nichol. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy (Hartley) Nichol. <br> <br>Alan was funny, caring, and a great friend to many. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, and his kindness, humour, and generosity touched the lives of those around him.
