It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Albert at the extraordinary age of 103. He left this world gently and has now been reunited with his beloved wife Madeleine and son Jean (Ena), whom he cherished deeply.
He leaves behind his devoted children Louise (Robert), Gilles (Janice) and Danielle (Roman), his grandchildren Annemarie (Derek), Paul (Marie-Noelle), Michel (Heather), Matthew (Shannon), Valérie (Philip) and Allison (Michel). He will also be missed by his great‑-grandchildren Taylor, Emily, Ashley, Vivian, Luke, Nicholas, Emmett, Riley, Wyatt, Madeleine, Oliver and Mason, nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He was a great man of kindness, humility, and generosity, someone whose presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew him.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday January 4, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Monday January 5, 2026 from 10:30 to 11:00 at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, Des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2A6). A celebration of his life will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 am, where loved ones will gather to honor his remarkable journey and the legacy he leaves behind.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to Sunrise of Beaconsfield for their attentive and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation of your choosing would be appreciated.
