<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by family, our loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25 at the age of 82. Her memory will be cherished by her children Jo-Ann (Eric Charpentier), Derek and Jason, and her grandchildren Alia and Kyra. She is survived by her brother and sisters Joan, Charlie (Penny) and Vera (Ed). She is now at peace with her husband of 49 years, Mas, who passed away in 2020. <br>May was an active member in the Dorval community and was involved in many activities and clubs. She was a regular ‘early bird’ at the swimming pool in the summer and a member of the Dorval weaver’s guild. She regularly volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels and was a member of Summerlea United Church. May was a thoughtful, kind, loving and talented soul and she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.<br>A special thank you to the palliative care team at the MUHC (Royal Vic) for their compassion and care. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 boul. des Sources, DDO) on Saturday, May 13 from 12 to 2 pm. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of May may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.<br></div>
