<div itemprop="description">With heavy hearts and deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Alexandros Sakalis on March 5th, 2024 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his loving wife Vassiliki of 56 years. Treasured father of Meropy (Sylvain), Stavros and Panagiotis (Maria). He also leaves to mourn his beloved grandsons Alexandros, Stefanos and Sebastianos. Known to all as Aleco, he will be remembered for his infectuous laugh, his adventurous spirit and his generous heart. We will miss the many stories of his life <br> <br>Visitation will be held on Thursday March 14th at Rideau Funeral Home between 3-9pm. A celebration of his life will be held at St Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church on Friday March 15th, 2024 at 11:00am followed by a burial at Rideau Funeral Home at 12:30pm. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.</div>
