<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anastasios Pandelas, on March 29, 2018 at the age of 69, weeks shy of his 70th birthday. <br> <br>Beloved husband of Alba Zeppilli, loving father of Maria (John), cherished grandfather ‘’Tata’’ of Clara and Anastasia, his namesake, both the apples of his eye. <br>Predeceased by his brothers Pantelis and Themi of Chios, Greece, and his sister Aleka (Stefanos) of Massachusetts. <br>Survived and mourned by his sisters in Greece, Argiro, Irene (Sotiris) and Jasimi. He will also be greatly missed by his brother George (Anna) of Montreal, his mother-in-law Maria Zeppilli, whom he lovingly referred to as "Madame", and predeceased by his father-in-law Nando Zeppilli in 2005. <br>Tearfully mourned by his sisters-in-law Rossana (Nello), Connie and family, his many nieces and nephews in Greece and Montreal and many relatives and friends and former coworkers. <br>His loyal and adored dog Briggie will also miss his daddy. <br> <br> <br>The family will receive condolences on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm and again on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 10am. <br>The Greek Orthodox service will be held at 11am. <br> <br>The family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Petrecca for his surgical skills which granted those who loved him the precious extra time to have with Tassos, as well as the staff at the Montreal Neurological Hospital and the Cedars Cancer Centre at the MUHC. <br> <br>When further medical treatment was not to be, Tassos spent his final months at the West Island Palliative Care Residence where his every need was taken care of with dignity and kindness. They not only took care of Tassos but of his family as well. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, we kindly request donations be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence in his memory. The family is forever grateful for the doctors, nurses, orderlies, volunteers and staff that make this residence a comforting place. <br>‘’Thank you for the care and the kindness during Tassos’ last months." <br> <br>"To all who have visited, called, cooked for, comforted, and made Tassos smile in the face of his illness and who continue to do so for us, you have made this journey more bearable and we shall never forget your kindness." <br> <br> <br> <br>If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. <br> <br>We will miss you eternally, Rest in Peace. <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
