<div itemprop="description">It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Andres Martinez, on January 14, 2026, at the age of 90.<br><br>Born on June 10, 1935, in Alcala de Henares, Spain, Andres later immigrated to Uruguay, where he met his wife, Zulema Rosenzweig. Together, they immigrated to Canada in 1970, where they built their life and family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Zulema Rosenzweig (September 14, 2019).<br><br>Andres is survived by his two sons, Alvaro Martinez (Jennifer Hickey) and Carlos Martinez (Marie-Anne Kwiatkowski), and his grandchildren Eva, Benjamin, Cecilia, Alexander, Alicia, and Liliana. He will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.<br><br>A visitation will be held on Friday, January 30th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Rideau Funeral Home / Arbor Memorial.<br><br>The family wishes to thank relatives and friends for their support and kind expressions of sympathy during this difficult time</div>
