It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Whitaker at the age of 75 years on March 17, 2025 in Kirkland at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
Andrew was the devoted husband of Glenda Woodgate Whitaker for 44 years this coming June. He was the proud father of David (Amanda), Jamie (Annie), Jay (Corinne), Michael (Laura), Shawn (Angela) and Matthew. He loved his many grandchildren Brandon (Marilyne), Nicole (Lucas), Jesse, Joey, Justin, Olivier, Charles, Zachary, Emma, Christyna, Anna and Nathan.
Andrew was born in Bradford England and came to Canada with his Parents and older brother at the age of 2 years old. Andrew was not only loved and cherished by his family but by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and great sense of humor. He had a passion and true love for the Montreal Canadiens, even during his last days would not miss a game.
He will definitely be missed, and is in a better place now. Instead of Goodbye, we ALL say "see you later" We love you deeply!!
