Anna Fafoutis (Linardis) / Άννα Φαφούτη (Λιναρδή)
August 15, 1935 - May 10, 2023
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Anna Fafoutis (Linardis) on May 10, 2023 at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, at the age of 87.
Anna, born in Athens, Greece met her beloved late husband, Eystratios Fafoutis, in Montreal. In 1959 they returned to Athens to get married. She then graduated from a business school in Montreal and became involved in several ventures that benefited her family. Anna was a very strong, independent, intelligent woman with a great sense of humour. She was a mother of the highest standards to her children Joanne and Jeffrey. Anna’s Greek family values and generosity were at the core of her being, and she would very often give her heart to help others. She was passionate about people, cooking and travel, and absolutely loved hosting dinners. Anna had incredible culinary skills and loved pleasing us with her delicious home cooked meals.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Joanne and Jeffrey, granddaughters, Megan (Adolfo), Kassandra (Vincent), Niki (Thom), her great granddaughter, Zoe, and many more relatives, friends and caregivers .
We would like to thank the Lakeshore Hospital and Teresa Dellar, Palliative Care Residence, for their compassionate care and support.
Family will receive condolences at the Rideau Memorial Gardens funeral home, 4275 Blvd des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 4 to 6 PM and from 7 to 9 PM.
