Antonio Garosi passed away peacefully on Friday August 12, 2022.

He is survived by his sister Fiorella and her husband Mario, brother-in-law Alfiero and his wife Sandra, nephew Anthony and his wife Carla, niece Ingrid and her husband Pier-Luigi, nephew Alexander and his wife Kim, great-nieces Sophia and Julia, and his great-nephew Daniel. He was predeceased by his parents Giulia and Gino.

Antonio was born in Florence, Italy. As a young man he searched for fortune in Sweden, spending two amazing years, before embarking on his journey to Montreal (Canada) where he settled for the balance of his life. In Antonio's youthful days, he was a fixture in the Montreal nightclubs. He had lots of great friends.

Once in Canada, he summoned his only sister Fiorella, and her husband Mario, to come to the new world to share in the splendor that he was finding. The arrival of his brother-in-law Mario created a great partnership in the restaurant business for 15 years. He later worked as an investment consultant, always educating himself on economics and geopolitics. As he grew older, he enjoyed outings of fishing and hunting with his close friends. His favorite time in the forest was picking wild mushrooms. Antonio was also an avid music lover and enjoyed classical, opera, and contemporary music. For many years he enjoyed regularly exploring Costa Rica, Bahamas, and Cuba, where he spent time socializing with many good friends.

He will be missed.
