<div itemprop="description">On Saturday February 8th, 2020 - Antonio Ernesto Da Frè passed away peacefully at his home in Montreal, Canada, at the incredible age of 101. He lived a long beautiful life, married to his sweetheart Maria Da Frè ( Agnolet ) celebrating their 70 years of marriage on February 4th, four days prior to his passing.<br> <br>He loved his family, winemaking, bocce, served in the Italian military as a proud "Alpino" the mountain infantry division of the Italian army & participated in several Italian choirs in Montreal for over 40 years all with his signature style of dressing like a gentleman no matter the occasion. <br> <br>Antonio was born in 1918, in the commune Sarmede, Provincia Trevisio, Veneto, Italy to mother Gasperina Gallo & Father Antonio Da Frè Sr. <br> <br>On February 4th, 1950 Antonio wed Maria Da Frè ( Agnolet ) at La Parrocchia di Santa Maria Assunta e San Cassiano in Cordignano, Italy.<br> <br>Antonio is survived by his loving wife Maria, four beautiful children Sergio (Patricia), Dave (Connie), Luisa (Angelo) & Sara (Stéphane); <br>further survived by nine wonderful grandchildren Stefano (Nathalie), Jason (Jean-Daniel), Pamela (Tony), David Allen (Ana Luiza), Michael (Bruna), Amanda (Duran), David (Erika), Melanie, Ariane. <br> <br>Antonio was also a proud great-grandfather survived by Chiara, Sofia, Rose, Leia & Domenico.<br> <br>He is & will be deeply missed by his whole family.<br> <br>The family will hold visitations at Rideau Funeral Home 4275 Boul des Sources, Dollard-Des-Ormeaux,QC, on Thursday February 13th, 2020 between 2pm - 5pm & 7pm - 9pm<br> <br>A Catholic mass will be held at 11 am on Friday February 14th, 2020 <br>at Notre-Dame de la Consolata, 1700, rue Jean-Talon Est, Montréal, QC, H2E 1T2 <br></div>
