It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Araks Derhovanessian, a cherished wife, mother, family member, and friend, whose kindness, strength, and compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Born on May 11th, 1950 in Tehran, Iran, Araks was the beloved daughter of Arshavir Derhovanessian and Emma Andreasian.
She was the devoted wife of Edik Messerkhani and loving mother to Alina Messerkhani and Artin Messerkhani (Isabelle Lalonde).Her greatest happiness was caring for the people she loved. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and bringing everyone together around the table. She also loved reading, traveling, and spending time with dear friends. Araks leaves behind her beloved husband Edik, her loving daughter Alina, her cherished son Artin, her beloved grandchildren Lara and Shant, children of Alina, and Alexandra, Eva, and Sevan, children of Artin .
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the kindness she shared with everyone. Her memory will forever remain a blessing.
