<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Armand Waksberg on May 18, 2023 at the age of 88. <br> <br>Loving husband to Josiane, his wife of 63 years, and wonderful father to sons René (Susan) and Paul (Marnie). He leaves behind his sister Hélène, brother-in-law Henri (Kristine) and nieces Natalie (Michel), Michelle, and Laurine. <br> <br>A life lived richly with his family, he loved hiking, travelling, listening to good music and dancing-with his wife! <br> <br>Armand was a renowned physicist in the field of laser technology, writing and receiving 5 patents in his field, in the US and Canada, while working for CAE, RCA, and with NASA and Jet propulsion Laboratory. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the staff of the third floor of Nazaire Piché CHSLD for their kindness and care, looking after Armand like a family member during his stay there. Merci beaucoup. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences Friday, June 9 from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux. <br> <br>In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Montreal Neurological Institute (https://www.mcgill.ca/neuro/donate).</div>
