<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Armando D’Antonio on August 19, 2026, at the age of 101.<br><br>He has gone to reunite with his beloved wife, Erminia whom he loved dearly and missed profoundly.<br>He leaves to mourn his children Mariano, Angela, Frank and Paola (Yanick), and his grandchildren Nicolas, Melissa, Lucas and Vanessa, who will cherish his memory forever.<br><br>A man of faith, compassion, and family values, Armando was a devoted husband, an exceptional father, and a model of kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born in Italy, he was deeply proud of his heritage and enjoyed sharing with his family the traditions, values, and rich cultural legacy of his native country. His natural kindness, attentive listening, and generosity touched the lives of several generations. He loved life, people, and the precious moments spent with those he held dear. Always ready to lend a helping hand, share a story, or offer a comforting smile, he brought family and friends together around the values he treasured most: love, respect, faith, and family. His legacy of wisdom, courage, and hope will continue to inspire all who loved him.<br><br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux) on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will follow directly at the funeral home on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. Following the service, we will accompany him to his final resting place at Rideau Memorial Gardens Mausoleum (4239 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux) where he will rest in peace.<br><br>The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to staff at CHSLD Denis-Benjamin-Viger and Lakeshore General Hospital for their compassionate care.<br></div>
