<div itemprop="description">Ashraf Sadat Larijani, 81, passed away peacefully on February 11th, 2024, following a brain hemorrhage, with her family by her side. <br> <br>Ashraf will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Ali Akbar Aftahi; children, Vahid, Shiva, Mehdi, Sima; grandchildren, Nina, Reza, Ryan, Deon, Melina, Hanna; children-in-law, whom she considered her own, Homayoon, Arash, Arghavan; companion Lynn-Marie and numerous other family members and friends. <br> <br>Born on December 25th, 1942, to Morteza Sadat Larijani and Tayebeh Ahadi, Ashraf spent her vivacious youth in Tehran, Iran, alongside her six siblings, Amir Hossein, Vajihe, Hamid, Nahid, Majid, Nasrin, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins nearby. <br> <br>Ashraf was a devoted mother, raising her four children with unwavering dedication, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished moments. Her joyous spirit illuminated social events and family gatherings, where her affability and warmth touched many. Ashraf found solace in traveling, embracing a passion that allowed her to experience the natural beauty of the earth and meaningful connections to diverse cultures. Often joyfully gifting souvenirs and sharing stories of these travels with her friends and family. In the face of adversity, Ashraf played a pivotal role in relocating her family to Canada, demonstrating a courageous pursuit for a brighter future. <br> <br>A visitation to celebrate Ashraf’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec.
