<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Athanasios Liakopoulos on July 7, 2019 at the Jewish General Hospital. Athanasios is the loving husband of Ekaterini, a wonderful father to Panagiota (Steve), Zoe (Jonathan), Dimitrios (Kristine) and Theodoros, a cherished grandfather to Alexandros, Athanasios, Ekaterina, Maximus, Isabella, Kasia, Nicholas, Christian and Ariana. Athanasios is loved by his many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. <br><br>Athanasios came from Greece at the age of seveteen. He was a pastry chef and did this his whole professional career. He had a big heart and all who met him loved him. He was a selfless man and had love for everyone.<br><br>Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6, on Thursday, July 11 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. as well as on Friday, July 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will take place at St. Constantine & St. Helen Church on Friday, July 12 at 11 a.m. followed by the burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Constantine & St. Helen Church or to the Jewish General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.</div>
