Badal passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
He studied Physics in Bangladesh and received his PhD in Canada, dedicating his career to climate research until his retirement in 2007. He was a scientist, a teacher, and a devoted follower of Sri Ramakrishna.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Manisha (2015) and daughter Ishika (2020).
Survived by his loving son Raj, daughter-in-law Heena, and cherished grandchildren Divya, Jodha, and Amaya.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM followed by cremation at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, Boul. Des Source, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9B 2A6).
