<div itemprop="description">With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Collar, cherished wife of the late Geoffrey Collar (predeceased in 2019). Barbara passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on the morning of March 25, 2024 ,surrounded by her family and new friends. <br> <br>Adored mother to Vicki-Jane (Phillip) and Jo-Anne (Herb) and grandmother to Stephan (Nicole), Ashley-jane (Kaveh) and Morgan (Stephen) and great grandmother to Cyrus. <br> <br>Barbara exemplified grace, style, and kindness throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her. She was the heart and soul of her home,nurturing her loved ones with boundless love and care. She had a great fondness for dogs of all kinds, especially Suzy, Saki, Dudley, Maggie, and Blue, who brought immense joy into her life. <br> <br>The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Vivalis Pointe Claire and her dear new friend, Bijoux (who gave her the title mademoiselle) for making her final days more comfortable. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA de Montreal or Nova Montreal in her honor. <br> <br>A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Visitation: 3:00pm to 4:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. <br></div>
