<div itemprop="description">Known for her kindness, warmth, beautiful smile and infectious laughter, Bernice (Bunny) Valetta (Metzger) Townley passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2026 on her 93rd birthday. She was a ray of sunshine that could always make someone's day a little brighter, and touched the lives of all that knew her. <br> <br>Her last years were spent in good company with all her friends at "The Wellesley" and loved playing Scrabble with family and friends. With a heart of gold and loved being surrounded by family, she was a rare, one of kind, wife, mother, Grammy, and sister. Preceded in death by: Walter Townley (husband) and Karen Dickey (sister). Survived by and Forever missed by Scott (Lynn) Townley, Craig (Mary) Townley, and Karen (Francisco) Alonso; Loving Grammy to John, Joseph, Nicole, and Hannah; Cherished sister to Marlene Metzger. <br> <br>A celebration of her life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, on Friday April 24th, 2026, starting at 12:15PM.
