James “Jim” Walter Billingham Jr.
Montreal, Quebec
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jim on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at the age of 76. His passing leaves a great void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Jim grew up in Verdun and later moved to Lasalle. Notwithstanding the many ailments he faced in his later years he was always in good humor and never complained. His strength was absolutely amazing.
His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Boston Bruins and relaxing in the company of his family and friends.
Jim is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 48 years, Deborah, his children, Jason (Louise) and Brent (Danielle) and his cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Gavin, Callie and Emmitt. He is also survived by his son Mark, sister Norine, brothers David and Barry as well as many nieces and nephews.
His family and friends will forever treasure his memory and the impact he had on their lives.
His interment will be held on August 7th, 2026 at 12pm at Rideau Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4239 Sources Blvd. Dollard-des-Ormeaux H9B 2A6.
If desired donations may be made in his honor to a charity of your choice.
