<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Henry Christie announce his peaceful passing on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the age of 79 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire, QC. <br><br>Brian was predeceased by his parents George Christie and Olive Hogan, and his siblings George, Dorothy, Daniel and Diane, and his grandson, Geoffrey. <br><br>He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 58 years, Margaret, and his children, Karyn (Ben) and Brian. <br><br>He is also mourned by his sisters, Maureen and Shirley, and his many in-laws, nieces and nephews. <br><br>A viewing will be held to commemorate Brian's life on Saturday, February 8th at 10:00 AM at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 des Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC. Service will follow at 12:00 PM. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in Brian’s name. <br><br>The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their generous care.</div>
