<div itemprop="description">Life Story of Brian Sarran Boodoosingh <br> <br>Brian Sarran Boodoosingh, also known to many as Sona, passed away on September 11th 2025. He was the husband of Girley, father of Vanessa and Michael, grandfather of Vedika and former father-in-law to Anand Balroop. <br> <br>He was 73 years old, born March 1st 1952 in San Juan Trinidad to Narine and Phuloo Boodoosingh. He was the brother of the late Babsie Mahabir, Rookhan (Boyblue) Boodoosingh, Ramesh Boodoosingh and Mitra (Baby) Boodoosingh. He was also the half brother of the late Suscilla Sawh Ramdass and Bhaiyo Sawh, and the uncle of the late Kamini Ramdass and Kenneth Boodoosingh. <br> <br>Brian was a definite favorite to all who knew him. He leaves to mourn 2 sisters, Joanne and Sattee, and 2 sisters-in-law, Lolite and Doolin. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces: Carl (Rookhan); Savi and Susan (Bhaiyo); Kirt and Ken (Ramesh); Roderick, Rhonda and Rodney (Babsie); Natasha and Jerome (Joanne); Andy and Anand (Mitra); Shebana and Sasha (Sattee). The list of nieces and nephews he held dear are too many to name, as he cherished the bonds that were created by blood, by affection or through marriage. <br> <br>Brian was a loving ‘grandfather’ to the children of his nephews and nieces. <br> <br>He was a well known member in the Montreal West Indian Community and built many friendships since his arrival to Canada. He particularly held a special place in the hearts of the Lewis and Ramhit families. <br> <br>He was passionate about family and music. He was the life of every party, where he enjoyed dancing and singing. He was well known for his love of All Fours and “Getting Down” at many parties, fetes and shows. He was a big supporter of Hindu Devotional Society of Montreal, Hindu Jyoti Satsang Mandir of Montreal and a part of the congregation of the Montreal First Church of the Nazarene. <br></div>
