It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bruce Darville, age 58, of Montreal, QC, on June 25, 2026.
Bruce was a beloved husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He spent five years working at Elexicon Energy, where he was a valued colleague, along side Niall, Guy, Tyler, Dave. In his free time, Bruce loved renovating his house, cooking, and entertaining family. Those who knew him will fondly remember his funny character and his signature facial expressions, which never failed to bring a smile to those around him.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Lichtenberger; his son, Timothy Darville; and his daughter, Laura Darville, and her partner, Nick, along with his granddaughters, Nova and Ellia. He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Elfriede; his brothers-in-law, Gerhard "Jerry" and Roland; his nephews, Craig and Chad; his nieces, Chelsea and Kayleigh; and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Bruce's memory.
Bruce will be forever in our hearts.
