<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Calypso Melissinos (née Stamatelatos) on February 29, 2024 at the age of 96 years. <br> <br>Calypso was born in Koudourata, Kefallonia, Greece on September 27, 1927. She was a passionate seamstress and an amazing cook. She was a perfectionist in every way with a heart of gold. Calypso was strong willed and a fighter until the end. <br> <br>She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband Spyridon, her parents Maria and George, her siblings Evangelia and Jerry and her brothers-in-law, Nikolaos, Dimitrios and Stavros as well as her nephew John and her niece Maria. <br> <br>She leaves to mourn her loving daughter Aspasia (Sean) and her loving son John. <br> <br>Calypso will be fondly remembered by her sister Erini, her sisters-in-law Athena (Theodoros) and Nitsa, as well as her nieces and nephews, Maria, Sia, Maria, Gerry, Natasha, George and Angie. <br> <br>She will be missed and remembered by her family and friends in Greece. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of CHSLD Vigi Mont-Royal for taking such great care of her and always treating her and the family with respect, kindness and compassion. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society OR Alzheimer's Canada. <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
