<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Candida Polisena (nee Cocca), on December 7, 2024 at the age of 88 surrounded by her loving family. Candida was predeceased by her husband Giovanni Polisena. <br> <br>She will be fondly remembered by her children Giovanna (Jacques Gamache), Anna (Victor Zakaib), Tony (Patricia Hordij) and her grandchildren Sean (Dasha Bielinko), Candida (Sean-Sebastien Sauve), Elise, Giovanni and Anthony. She also leaves behind her great grandson Jake Bielienko-Gamache. She will be greatly missed by her best friend Carmelina Piccinini who was like a sister to her, as well as Myriam Ciccarelli. <br> <br>The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all the staff at Lumia Residence for their kind and attentive care throughout her time at the residence. We would also thank the palliative care staff on the second floor at Sacre Coeur Hospital for being so supportive and compassionate in her final moments. <br> <br>Service will be held at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas a Becket Church situated at 4320 St. Anne Street, Pierrefonds, QC H9H 4Y7 on Monday, December 16, 2024. Viewing will be held at the church from 09:15 am to 10:00 am prior to the mass. <br> <br>The burial will be at Rideau Funeral home after the mass situated at: 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard des Ormeaux, H9B 2A6. <br> <br>In her memory, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Foundation can be made. <br> <br>Rest in peace Candida. You will always in remain in our hearts. <br> <br></div>
