<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our beloved Mother Carmela. She passed away peacefully at her home on 11 November 2022, surrounded by her family following a short illness. Born in Provvidenti Campobasso, Italy, she immigrated to Canada with her family in the 1950s. She was a devoted and generous mother to her children and her grandchildren. Her loyalty, kindness and generosity also extended to her brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband Giovanni Nicola Caporicci. She is survived by her children John-Francis, her daughters Elizabeth-Rose (François) and Catherine (Marc-André), and her loving grandchildren, Sofia Clara, Olivia Bianca, and Victoria Lily. She is predeceased by her sister Angela (Domenico). She is survived by her brother Tony (Sylvia), Michelina (Michele), Joe (Mary), Mike (Sharron), Domenic and Anna. She will be greatly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Visitation will occur on Thursday November 24th from 5:30-9:00 pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boulevard des sources, D.D.O, H9B 2A6. The funeral will be held at Paroisse St. Geneviève, 16037 Gouin boulevard, St. Geneviève, H9H 1C7, on Friday November 25th at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest in an Urn and will be buried on Friday December 2nd. Many thanks to the Royal Victoria Hospital Hepatology staff, Dr. Wong and France (RN), the CLSC team of Dr. A, Francine, Johanne, Nancy and Erika as well as Nancy from the Victorian Order of Nurses for providing compassionate care.</div>
