It is with deep sadness and loving hearts that we share the passing of Carmine Laurella on October 24, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on September 7, 1933, in San Massimo, Campobasso, Italy, to parents Rosa and Antonio, Carmine lived a long and devoted life centered on family, hard work, and love.

Beloved husband to Lidia for 68 years, Carmine was a devoted and caring father to Rosanne (Tony) and Nino (Antonietta). He was a proud Nonno to Frank (Caterina), Anthony (Kassandra), and Robert, and a joyful Bisnonno to August, who brought him immense joy.

Carmine will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Carolina and Filomena, and is now reunited with his late brother Luigi. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were touched by his warmth and kindness.

In 1966, Carmine immigrated to Canada, where he built a new life for his family through hard work and dedication in the construction industry. His work ethic, humility, and quiet strength left a lasting example for all who knew him.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Cardiology Department at Sacred Heart Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
Carmine will be forever remembered for his deep love of family, his generous spirit, and his gentle presence. His legacy lives on through the stories, laughter, and love he shared so freely.

In keeping with his spirit, the family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Sacred Heart Hospital Foundation (fondationhscm.org) in appreciation of the care he received.

Your love and kindness during this time of sorrow are deeply appreciated.
