It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol after a long and courageously fought battle with ovarian cancer.
Daughter to the late William Grandin and late Dorothy Edwards. Loving mother to Debbie and Karen (Michael). Loving nanny to Michael Jr., Michael, William and Eva.
Predeceased by her brothers William and Johnny, she also leaves behind her brothers and sister, George (Joan), Dorothy (Alan) and Richard (Judy) and her sister-in-law May.

She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, friends and especially long time best friends Marva and Marilyn.

Carol's love of the cottage, her grandchildren, her cats, Coronation street, and her sweets was evident. After her diagnosis she fought with positivity to stay and truly appreciated every extra day.

Blessed to have had such incredible doctors, special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Adrian Langleban for his undying compassionate care and the entire oncology staff at St. Mary's hospital, truly a group of angels, also Dr. Petrecca, Dr. Kopek at the Neuro, Dr. Wendy Estevez, Nova West Island, Nova Hudson, Dr. Iancu and the entire staff of nurses, doctors and volunteers at the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care.

A gathering to celebrate Carol's life will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul.
