<div itemprop="description">Carole Ridge Meakin was born on September 19th 1944 in Lachine, Quebec to Sidney James Ridge and Marie Reine Cecile Bussiere. She passed away on March 2nd 2024 after a very sudden decline in her health. <br> <br>Carole is survived by her loving children Cheryl (Paolo), Lynn (Richard), grandchildren Ambra & Siena and furry grandkids Massimo, Vito and Boo Boo. Carole was predeceased by her parents and loving husband Gerald Franklin Meakin. <br> <br>Carole and Gerry married on November 11th 1967 and were happily married for many years. They raised their family together in D.D.O Quebec where they lived for 35 years. In that time they made many lifelong friends whom they loved very much. <br> <br>Carole was a secretary for St. Michaels and all Angels Church in Pierrefonds, Quebec for the majority of her career. She was also a wonderful homemaker and full time Mummy. <br> <br>Carole was an excellent artist… Something she inherited from her father. She loved to paint, draw, make flower arrangements, etc. She also loved to travel, go to restaurants, go shopping, have get togethers with family and friends. She loved to laugh and say funny jokes. <br> <br>Please join us for a visitation and service at Rideau Funeral Home on Sources Blvd on Wednesday March 20th 2024 from 2pm to 4pm.</div>
