<div itemprop="description">Catherine Mildred Rice (née Quinn), known as Millie, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023, at the age of 95 years. <br> <br>Millie, Mother, Aunt and Great Grandmother to many, was born to Michael Joseph and Mary (née McPhee) on February 18, 1928, in Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, the youngest of five, now all deceased. By her own account, Millie, whose life was greatly influenced by her “Grandma Quinn”, had a “wonderful childhood” and adored both her parents. Millie was a very proud, devout woman, who lived her life according to the Catholic Church’s beliefs and we, her immediate family, find comfort that she is now reunited in Heaven with those most precious to her. <br> <br>Family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd. des Sources D.D.O. on Wednesday, August 23rd from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and Thursday, August 24th, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Edmund of Canterbury Church, 105 Blvd. Beaconsfield, Beaconsfield, QC H9W 3Z8, at 1:00pm followed by the interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
