<div itemprop="description"><br>With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mrs. Cecilyammah Santhiapillai, who peacefully departed this life at the age of 91, on May 15th, 2024, in the solace of her home. <br> <br>Born on December 5th, 1932, in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, Cecilyammah embarked on a new chapter at the age of 60 when she immigrated to Canada, where she flourished, embracing life with love and purpose. <br> <br>Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Santhiapillai Sebastiampillai, Cecilyammah was cherished for her radiant smile and boundless kindness. She will be deeply missed by her six devoted children: Sebastian, Anton, Edmun, William, Anne Juliet, and Anne Indrani. Her legacy of love extends to her numerous grandchildren Antony, Roshani, Vinothini, Diyanie, Evangeline, Berin, John Paul, Mary, Joe, Ulisa, Kevin, Jenofia, Tivonia, Jason and Jean and great-grandchildren Jonathan, Arjun, Maaran, Tharani, Mithran, Aadithyan, Myrani, Jaymian, Tristan and Aiden who were privileged to bask in her warmth and affection. <br> <br>Cecilyammah's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of family, friendship, laughter, and good health, for which she was profoundly grateful. <br> <br>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing at Rideau Funeral Home on Friday, May 24th, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Parish at 11am, followed by interment at Rideau Memorial Gardens at 12:30 p.m. <br> <br>May Cecilyammah find eternal peace in the embrace of her beloved late husband, Santhiapillai Sebastiampillai, and may she be reunited with her dear parents and siblings in the realm of everlasting serenity. <br> <br> <br></div>
