Predeceased by dear granddaughter Ashley.
Eileen served in the Women’s Land Army and married before immigrating to Canada in 1955. She made Montreal her home in 1956 and remained there until her passing.
Eileen was an intelligent, tenacious and vibrant woman who faced the challenges of life in a strange country without family or friends. Eileen never drove a car and yet she managed to work until the grand age of 83 years young, still visiting the gym on a regular basis, shopping, taking part in events and traveling extensively.
Eileen loved to travel and visited family in Vancouver, Hamilton, England, Arizona, Portugal, Switzerland and even Africa!
She loved her animal friends, especially her owls and cats.
