<div itemprop="description">Claude Joseph Paul Alarie passed away peacefully on the evening of September 17, 2025, at the age of 72, surrounded by his three children. <br> <br>Claude was a loving, compassionate, and devoted father, husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, and grandfather. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing him was touched by his kindness and presence. <br> <br>He dedicated his career to health care as a PAB, where he shared his deep care and compassion with others. At the Montreal General Hospital’s palliative care unit, he made a lasting difference in the lives of his patients and their families. In recognition of his exceptional service and devotion, he was awarded the Director General’s Award in 2011. <br> <br>Claude is survived by his three children, Paul, Philip, and Lauren; his cherished grandchildren, Logan, Mavrick, Liane, and Ethan; and his eight siblings. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. <br> <br>Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m and from 6:00 to 8:00pm . at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, D.D.O. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m</div>
