<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Glenn Raymond announce his passing on Saturday, February 27, 2021. <br> <br>He was the loving husband of Beverley, his highschool sweetheart and love of his life, to whom he has been married for 38 wonderful years. Beloved father of Melissa (Uros) and Bradley (Vanessa). Cherished grandad (Gaga) to Luka and Katarina. Dear brother to Donna (Yves) and Kerry. He will also be dearly missed by other family members and friends, as well as his furry companions, Trixie and Toby . <br> <br>His loving parents (Dorothy and Leonard) have greeted him with open arms. <br> <br>Glenn’s smile was as bright as the sun. His gentle and courteous nature was felt by all. He exhibited kindness and compassion. He was a true gentleman, respectful towards others and respected by others. Public speaking was his craft. His communication skills were one of a kind. His delivery was impeccable and came so naturally. He captivated the attention of anyone in his presence. His words, always so humble and beautifully spoken. He loved to travel, play golf, and above all, spend time with his family. <br> <br>One of Glenn’s greatest accomplishments was being a father. He took such pride in raising a family alongside his wife, Beverley. His children, Melissa and Bradley, and his son-in-law, Uros, viewed Glenn as their mentor. Someone that would guide them through all of their adversities. He had a gift for listening and always had the right answer. His children can only aspire to be the kind, loving, devoted parent that he was to them. <br> <br>Glenn retired from Air Canada after 36 years of service. His dedication and consummate professionalism was recognized in 1998, when Glenn was named a recipient of the Award of Excellence. Glenn was viewed by his peers as an invaluable resource, who always made time for his colleagues and could always be relied upon for thoughtful, sage advice. <br> <br>Glenn’s memory will live on forever in our hearts and he will forever be remembered. <br> <br>Due to circumstances in regards to the pandemic, a private ceremony will be held in his memory. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cedars Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated. <br></div>
