Concetta Certosini (nee Scardaoni)
December 2nd, 1930 to January 1st, 2026
Concetta passed away peacefully on January the 1st of 2026 at the age of 95.
She leaves to mourn her children Tony (Joyce), Philip (Cindy), Gina (Matteo), her grandchildren, Angela (Mohamed), Antonio (Karynn), Matthew (Alexandra), Nicolas (Patrizia), James, Victoria (Donato), Sophia (Rafael), her great grandchildren, Carina, Hadi, Zaina, Emilio, Leo, Adrien, Lars, Lotti-Lou, Simona, Nico, Olivia and her nephew, François (Thomas).
She is predeceased by her husband Emilio Certosini, who passed away on December 16th, 2016.
She was born in Larino, Italy, and came to Canada in 1950. She met her husband Emilio and the pair married in 1951. She loved cooking, especially homemade pasta and Italian pastries. She loved having her family over for special occasions and Sunday lunches. When she wasn't cooking, she enjoyed spending time in her garden. We could always hear her singing Italian songs as she worked.
