Connie (Constance) Tornsgard nee McKinnon
September 3, 1931 - October 5, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce that our Mum Connie Tornsgard (nee Constance Helena McKinnon) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday October 5th 2023 at the age of 92.
As her 9 year journey with dementia has come to an end, a new one begins as she passes through St-Peter’s Gates.
Connie was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Bert. She is survived by her 3 children: Ted, Mea (Gordon) and Pam, her two cherished grandsons Matt and Chris (Vanessa) and new great grandson Henry.
Born in Douglastown, New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (DeWolfe) McKinnon. Connie was one of 9 children. She is survived by her brother Frank of Hamilton, Ontario.
She was predeceased by 3 sisters: Mary, Gwen and Betty and 4 brothers: Ralph, Bernie, Cleo and Ben.
Connie was a very active and enthusiastic member of St-Luke’s Parish in Dollard-des-Ormeaux for the last 55 years. If it was possible, she never missed a mass.
A private family event will be held.
