<div itemprop="description">It is with heartache that we announce the passing of Cyril Ryan after a brief illness on August 3rd, 2023 in Pointe-Claire, QC. <br> <br>He leaves behind his wife Silvana Anania, daughter Ayanna Ryan (Patrick), grandson Tristan, as well as family members and friends. <br> <br>Born in Aruba, and raised in Mile End & the Plateau in Montreal, the culture of the city inspired the artist within him to flourish. An accomplished photographer, teacher, film studies connoisseur, woodworking aficionado, and architectural appreciator, he greatly valued beauty in many forms. <br> <br>Through his travels he was able to explore the world and captured moments through his multiple lenses. The National Gallery of Canada has some of his images in their collection. <br> <br>Cyril was an intelligent, charismatic, caring and loving man with a zest for life who will be deeply missed. <br> <br> In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
