<div itemprop="description">In Kirkland, Québec on Sunday September 10 2023, Danielle Paquet-Jodoin, beloved wife of Gilbert Legault, passed away at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. <br> <br>Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her children: Patrick Jodoin (Chantale Mercier), Marie-Andrée (Patrick Simon), her grandchildren Raphaëlle, Livia, Émilie and Christian. Also in mourning are Gilbert's children: Philippe (Debbie), Carl (Catherine) and Robert (Kathy), and their 11 children. Preceeding Danielle in the after life were her parents, Paul Paquet and Rita Cyr, her brother Luc (Francine) and her sister Lucille Paquet (Langelier). She leaves to mourn, her brothers Pierre and Paul (Joceline), and her sister Francine (the late Bertrand) and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. <br> <br>Danielle was born in Causapscal in Gaspésie and grew up in Carleton-sur-Mer. After her secondary education in Moncton, New Brunswick, she attended Laval University in the field of Human Resources Management. From there, she worked at Expo 67 for which she was decorated with the Canada Centenial medal for Service to Canada. Danielle then devoted her time to her young family, followed by a new career in Real Estate, where she earned the respect of her clients and her peers. <br> <br>The family will greet relatives and friends at the Rideau Funeral Home,4275 Sources Blvd in Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Friday September 22 from 9:30 to 12:00. It will be followed by a ceremony at 12:15. A reception will follow. <br> <br>The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. Dévouée à sa jeune famille, elle a ensuite fait carrière dans le domaine de l'immobilier ou elle a acquis le respect de ses clients et de ses pairs. <br> <br>La famille recevra les condoléances le vendredi 22 septembre à la Maison funéraire Rideau, 4275 boul. des Sources à Dollard-des-Ormeaux de 9h30 à 12h.
