<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny James Almon, who left us suddenly due to a heart attack on March 10, 2024, at the age of 74, in Montreal. <br> <br>Danny is lovingly remembered by his wife Carolyn; his son, Chad (Belma Ramic); his daughter, Ashley (Kimo Abdel-Gayed); and his adored grandchildren, Alisa, Eddy, and Rio. <br> <br>He will also be deeply missed by his sister-in-law, Patricia Osborne (survived by Larry Swales), along with a wide circle of friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched. <br> <br>A man of great passion and community spirit, Danny dedicated himself to his family and friends. He was an enthusiastic tennis player, a beloved coach for baseball and hockey, and actively contributed to the betterment of his community. <br> <br>Danny had the unique gift of forging genuine connections with people from all walks of life, often imparting wisdom to the youth with whom he shared his love of sports. His legacy includes countless memories cherished by those he met. <br> <br>A celebration of Danny's life will be held with vibrancy and joy, as he would have wanted.
