It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of David on January 14, 2024 at the age of 50 years.
Loving son of Joan (nee Smith) and the late Jack. Adored brother of Kimberly (Tim). Also survived by cousins Susan Napier (Don) and David Wells (Theresa) and Barry Smith (uncle). Predeceased by his grandparents Rhoda & Ronald Smith and Lily & Thomas Whattam. We know that Dave’s heavenly dogs Sheba, Shooter and Buddy will be glad to see him again.
Dave won the hearts of everyone around him with his kindness and doing whatever needed to make a person smile. He was always there to help out family, a neighbour or a friend in any way he could no matter what the task was. Animals of all kinds were drawn to his gentleness.
He was proud of his repertoire of useless info which we will miss hearing.
A celebration of remembrance will be held in the spring/summer. Cremation has taken place.
