<div itemprop="description">Peacefully in his 81st year, David Francis McLarnon passed away on April 13, 2024. Son of the late Gertrude Cunningham, and of the late Francis Patrick McLarnon. He leaves behind two children, Jason (Catherine) and Monica (Kevin) and his three grandchildren, Cassidy, Thomas, and Olivia. Brother to Karen McLarnon (Clark) and the late Lydia McLarnon, Diane Graham (Doug), and Claude Perrault (Rosie), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. <br> <br>David had a passion for travel and had the opportunity to travel to numerous countries. His career started with OceanAir Travel Agency and later he became partners with the late Andy Kampitsis at D.A.D. Travel. He went on to become owner of Canabeq Travel in Roxboro. David also coached hockey in Pierrefonds and maintained a lifelong friendship with his fellow teammates. In his retirement years he enjoyed playing in golf tournaments. <br> <br>Family and friends are invited to his memorial service to be held on May 20, 2024, at Rideau Funeral Home 4275 Sources Blvd Dollard-des-Ormeaux 514-685-3344. Visitation is from 10:00am to 1:00pm, and a service will follow from 1:00 to 2:00pm. <br> <br>Though his physical presence may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's honor to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. <br></div>
