<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David McClure on October 18th, 2018 at the age of 85. <br>David left us peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. <br> <br>Survived by his beloved wife, Margaret of 58 years, his children Richard (Jennifer), Brian (Sonia), Cathy (Brian), Michael (Melanie) and his 11 grandchildren (Nicole, James, Daniel, Marisa, Sean, Matthew, Hannah, Brianna, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Madeline). Along with his sister Kay(Bob) and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his four brothers, Jimmy, Hank, Jack, and Allan as well as his parents, James and May. <br> <br>David grew up on Jubilee avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He went on to work for Air Canada and after 36 years happily retired in Montreal. David was a devoted father and grandfather. He was an avid golfer, loved to work outside in his yard and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. <br> <br>A special thank you goes out to Suzie and Lucille for all of the care and support they provided for David and to the West Island Palliative Care Residence for being so wonderful and considerate during such a difficult time. <br> <br>We will greatly miss David’s sense of humour and his kind and friendly manner. He will always be remembered forever in our hearts. <br> <br>As per David’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the West Island Palliative Care Residence Foundation.</div>
