It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of the beloved mother and wife, Diana Haddad Tabry, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 87 in Montreal, Quebec.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice, her son, Raji Patrick, her sister, Mary (Andrew) Suidan and her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was a woman of presence—when she entered a room, she was felt. With her striking green eyes and strong, determined spirit, she carried herself with quiet elegance and a strength that stayed with you.

Before dedicating herself to her family, Diana, a graduate of the American University of Beirut, was a high school English teacher in Lebanon. She later became an exceptional homemaker, known for her warmth, her cooking, and the beauty she created through her love of flower arranging. She was also a big traveler and accomplished Club Master bridge player, forming lasting friendships over the years.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—milk chocolate, sweets, and entertaining, especially when she hosted her annual Christmas party—and she brought care, pride, and attention to everything she did.

To her family, she was everything.

Diana passed on Holy Thursday, a sacred day, a detail that brings quiet comfort to those who loved her.

She will be remembered with extreme love, respect, and admiration, and will be profoundly missed.

Special thanks to Dr. Toma and all the nurses and staff of the Montreal General Hospital 14th floor.
