<div itemprop="description">Diana Komery passed away peacefully April 15, 2023, at the incredible age of 93. After surviving bouts with Cancer and Heart disease she still lived a rich life. <br> <br>She was a loving person who enjoyed many pleasures of life. Traveling to places such as Turkey, Greece, Italy, France and England to name a few. She must have intended to follow her father's footsteps when in the early 1920's he risked his life to come to Canada from Turkey. Traveling through the Middle East and Europe before taking the voyage to Canada. <br> <br>Diana had a dedicated career of more than 30 years with Air Canada, there she met and formed lasting friendships. Her airline career was fitting with her personality and love of travel. <br>Diana was an animal lover, the debate of cats vs dogs will always be part of the family, however Diana showed no preference, she loved them all. She also enjoyed and appreciated good food, English mysteries, crossword puzzles and her comics. <br> <br>Diana is survived by her sister in-law Gisèle, nieces Natasha, Kim (Stéphane), Ingrid, Nathalie (late Michel) and nephews Christopher (Tanya), Michael (Marcella), her cousins, grand nieces, grand nephews and long time friends. <br> <br>Diana will be joining her brothers Irwin, Douglas, Robert and sister in-law Lorna. <br>The family extends their appreciation and gratitude to the Care Givers on the 4th floor at Chateau Westmount. <br>A private celebration of Diana's life will take place in June. <br>For those who wish to make a memorial tribute may consider a donation to the SPCA on her behalf. <br></div>
