Diane Brown (Scopelleti)
April 30, 1949 - March 24, 2025
<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Brown-Coté, the eldest child of Antonio Scopelleti and Rita Chasles, and treasured sister of Robert and Antonia. Diane was predeceased by her beloved first husband, Ross, her cherished second husband, Mark (2022), and her son, Jamie. She leaves behind her loving and heartbroken children: Jennifer (Markus), Lisa (Jansen), John (Holly), and Tanya (Michael) as well as her surrogate daughter Tatiana (Jimmy). She will be deeply missed by her adored grandchildren: Nolan, Madeleine, Fiona, Griffin, Ewan, Kai, and Emi. She is also fondly remembered by Jeff, Shawn, and Paula, the parents of her grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and dear friends. <br> <br> A lifelong enthusiast of the performing arts, Diane was actively involved with The Becket Players Theatre Troupe, served as a backup singer for Air Canada’s marketing campaign featuring Céline Dion, was a devoted patron of Montréal’s Centaur Theatre, and delighted in hosting countless home karaoke gatherings. An accomplished baker, she took great pride in preparing Christmas desserts and cakes for special occasions. <br> <br> Diane was a remarkable woman who balanced a successful career with unwavering devotion to her family. She was the foundation of her family, embodying kindness, generosity, and boundless love. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Diane nurtured a unique and special bond with each of her children and grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and affection. <br> <br> The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff and administration at Ste. Anne’s Hospital, especially the dedicated caregivers on the 8th floor, for their compassionate care and support. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. <br> <br></div>
