He passed away peacefully at Montreal Sacred Heart Hospital on March 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. <br> <br>He was born May 10, 1942, in the village Nangal Majja, Punjab. He left India at fifteen years of age where he went to Kenya, and then the UK, finally settling in Montreal in 1966. <br> <br>He spent the majority of his life working as a machinist and as a supervisor for over 30 years at Pratt & Whitney Canada. <br> <br>Diljit lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and devotion to family. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit. <br> <br>He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and as someone who deeply valued and cherished family and friendship above all else. <br> <br>He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.</div>
