<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Dodridge Proctor McFarlane at the age of 104 years old. <br> <br>Mr. McFarlane was born to Mr. Dookie Kissoon and Ms. Linda McFarlane on March 21st, 1917 at the Plantation Bath Estate Hospital in West Berbice Guyana known as British Guiana at the time. <br> <br>He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Mrs. Vida Leonie McFarlane (née Saul); his children, Leon Chapman (Bernice), Barbara August, Myrtle Sears, Kenneth McFarlane (Beverly), Lennox McFarlane (Diane), Paulette McFarlane, Winton McFarlane (Maxine), Vaughn McFarlane (Donna), Eglah Collins, Karlos McFarlane (Carol), Darnley McFarlane (Lavern) and Wentworth McFarlane; his over 50 grandchildren, over 50 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who reside in Canada, the United States and overseas as well as his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; his brothers Ulrick, Richard, Jolly and Ravin; his sisters Vivian and Hirowty; his children, Lincoln, Maureen and Charlene. <br> <br>Mr. McFarlane arrived in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on October 31st, 1982 where he settled and found his final resting place on March 26th, 2021. <br> <br>We love you and may you rest in eternal paradise. <br> <br>On behalf of our family, we would like to thank everyone who will be attending his celebration of life virtually and for those who have sent their condolences.
