<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vilmos Mihaly Domsodi, 88, on December 1, 2025, while vacationing in Florida with his family.<br><br>He was the devoted husband of the late Edith (Rohrbach). He will be deeply missed by his son Michael (Anna); daughter Julie-Ann Leblanc (Pierre); his pride and joys, Michael (Caitlin), Christopher (Madison), Alyssa (Emilio), Lindsay, Ashley and his beloved great-grandson Bowen.<br><br>Born August 25, 1937, in Val, Hungary, he was the son of Lazlo and Julianna Domsodi and brother to four siblings, all of whom predeceased him. He served with distinction in the French Foreign Legion before immigrating to Canada in 1962. He settled in Montreal, where many knew him through his work in hospitality, including manager at the Playboy Club, Chef at restaurants Paprika, Klondike Steakhouse, Brasserie St Aubin and later as owner of Bobino, Big Ben, and RendezVous Restaurants. In his later years, he worked at the West Island Golf Dome, allowing him to remain close to his wife and help with his grandchildren.<br><br>Vilmos was defined by his unwavering devotion to family, tireless work ethic, exceptional cooking, generosity, and love of storytelling. He took immense pride in being present for his grandchildren; driving them from school and activities, attending their sporting events, and celebrating their milestones.<br><br>Please join us at for a celebration of his life on Saturday, January 17th from 2-5pm at Duke & Devine’s, 479 Beaconsfield Blvd, Beaconsfield, QC H9W 4C3. The family will share a few special memories at 4:00 PM.</div>
