<div itemprop="description">BAIRD, DOROTHY EILEEN (nee WEBSTER) (1926-2019) <br> <br>Dorothy passed away peacefully, in her 93rd year, on Saturday, August 17th after courageously battling cancer. <br>Beloved wife of the late John Allan (Jack) Baird, devoted mother to Doreen (Tony), John (Kim) and Ken (Valerie), cherished grandmother to Kevin, Michael (Jessica), Courtney, Anthony, Jonathan, Christine (Steve), Stephanie (Antoine) and dear sister-in-law to Robert Baird, Betty Freeman (deceased) and Joan Neill. <br>She married her soulmate and they lived together happily for 62 years. She was an amazing mother and grandmother, always caring, always there when you needed her. She loved unconditionally. <br>Dorothy relished life, cherished her many friends, enjoyed playing bridge with her pals and taking trips with the Dorval Voyageurs. She was a dedicated Life Member of the United Church Women. <br>To say that she will be missed is an understatement. She will never be forgotten. <br>The family would like to thank Dr. Cristiano Ferrario of the Jewish General Hospital for his tender care, and also thank the incredible staff of the CLSC for their assistance and support. <br>Visitation will take place one hour before the funeral service, which will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00 AM at Dorval Strathmore United Church, 310 Brookhaven Avenue, Dorval H9S 2N7. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dorval Strathmore United Church, The Jewish General Hospital Oncology Department, or the charity of your choice. <br></div>
